My name is Jill Kimball. For three short months, I'll be studying journalism at the Istituto Filippin in Paderno del Grappa and I'll chronicle my experiences in this blog, which I set up for a travel writing class.
Included in this blog will be cultural observances, language barrier problems I'm sure I'll encounter, academic projects and several stories about the large handful of countries I'll visit on travel breaks.
I'm not an experienced travel blogger, but I'll use all the creativity I can muster and the news reporting experience I've garnered in my two years at the University of Oregon and in my three internships to do my best.
